Abstract

This Special Issue is devoted to the presentation of papers on research issues and developments in the exciting fields of parallel numerics and parallel computing in image processing, video processing and multimedia. These domains belong to kernels of the high-performance-computing area. They reflect the rapid development and widespread use of parallel computing technology nowadays.
